I just found this song sung by Rachel Crow, a contestant from The X Factor USA 2011.

I think it's very important to spread word on anti-bullying. It happens everywhere, not just in school and not just to young people. It happens to boys, girls, women, and men.

The topic for today is Sorority. What is a sorority? According to Google Translate, it is 女學生聯誼會. I don't know if that is correct, but hey, Google is a lot smarter than I am.

So, at UBC, there are several sororities, "girl club", whatever you want to call it. I am in one. 

I am in Alpha Omicron Pi.

Just last week, on November 18th, 2012, we volunteered at an event called "The Jingle Bell Walk and Run." It is a charity event to raise money for Arthritis research (关节炎.) Throughout the year, Alpha Omicron Pi (a group of about ~50 girls,) raises several thousands of $$$$$$$ for Arthritis research. 

The event was held in New Westminister, BC, by the Quay. It was cold and rainy, but regardless, several of our Alpha Omicron Pi girls showed up to volunteer ahd show support.

Yesterday, I visited a senior home for the first time! All of the 公公&婆婆 and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We put on a little show for them and made them some Christmas gifts! When we did a "funny pose" picture with a 公公 婆婆, they did funny poses too~ LOL. How awesome is that?

The highly anticipated day has passed and I miss it already. We started bright and early with haiir and makeup and then made our way to lunch.

I'm so grateful that everything went by so smoothly All the girls did a fantastic job. It was my first time walking and talking in front of an audience and camera men. I will never forget this day. Now I'm even more stoked for the final show on December 12th, 2012. See you all there!

The most bizarre thing happened not too long ago. . . I was in the car driving.. when I heard a big "BOOM!"  A mini explosion had happened inside my car.  I reached over to the back seat and ... DUN DUN DUN!!!

The days of VT Shooting are finally over!

But that doesn't mean anything's about to get easier. In fact, things have just gotten 10X more difficult/busier. Our press conference is happening in about 16 hours and I have a midterm exam right after! What a busy busy day it'll be tomorrow. I hope the weekend turns out better.

Happy Halloween! It's raining this year but that's not stopping me from having fun. This year, instead of trick-or-treating, I've decided to visit Playland's Fright Night! It's too cold and wet to dress up so I just wore my cutest hat.

I hope everyone's having a great week despite the rainy weather.

This weekend was relaxing but still very eventful. I went to Golden Ears Park to take a walk and it started hailing. Afterwards, I went to Castle Fun Park to play some games. 

On Sunday, I visited the dentist. Dr. John Li did an incredible job at whitening my teeth. Thanks a lot!

What a busy week! We had 9 days of non-stop training and filming/ photo shoots. It's been tiring but I've made it. I had a great time filming and taking photos. I want to thank the entire makeup and hair team for keeping me pretty and fresh. And thank you to everyone else for all of their hard work.

I'll let the pictures explain my week.

#9 and #10

Week two of training and preparations just flew by and now I have a 1.5 day break. 

I spent the week studying for my midterm exam, running around the entire city (in heels), and learning lots of things from our incredible instructors.

On Thursday, I had my first facial ever! It was so relaxing and totally necessary for the midterm I had right after. I want to thank Rebecca for the lovely gift bag full of facial goodies and the rest of the staff for the great time I had there. And as usual, I ate some delicious sushi.

Today, I went to downtown to do some shopping. I stopped by at Japadog to pick up food and got free Coca Cola along the way.

My Saturday started bright and early at Jericho Beach for UBC's Day of the Longboat. My team and I rowed a super long boat for 26 minutes! We were exhausted and wet by the end of it, but it was definitely worth the good exercise.

On Friday morning, the ladies of Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2012 visited our first gym session! 

After the gym, I went to my last day of work.  I'll miss making bubble tea. 

By the end of the day, I was very tired and hungry. My best friends called me out and we ate a big meal. It was so good!
